Located in picturesque Stanley, this beautiful half-brick, half-cladded home was custom-built to capture the relaxed Tasmanian coastal lifestyle. The well-laid-out design perfectly frames direct views of the famous Stanley Nut right from the living areas. Working closely with the client, we tailored the build to their exact lifestyle needs, converting the originally planned single-car garage into a spacious second living area, and adding a stunning eco-deck accessible from both the lounge and dining rooms for seamless indoor-to-outdoor entertaining.

The Specific Challenges
The block presented a significant challenge with a massive two-metre fall across the site. Furthermore, site complexities and external delays with the principal contractor threatened to disrupt the project's momentum and completely blow out the timeline.
The Result
Standout Achievements
We solved the sloped block by raising the house out of the ground on the lower side, installing a retaining wall, and topping it with a level lawn to make the steep site feel perfectly flat. To protect the client's timeline, we stepped in and took total control of the site, managing the trades directly to ensure the build kept moving forward without wasting the client's time.
