The Founder's Story / Our "Why"
I left school in Year 10 and went straight to work. I loved the tools, but as I moved through the industry, I saw a culture I didn’t want to be part of. Builders riding their teams too hard just to scrape a margin. Stressed families waiting years for homes to be finished. I realised that wasn’t the bloke I wanted to be, and it wasn’t the culture I wanted to build.
So I started TCB Build to do it differently. A business that runs like clockwork, where the team is respected and the work is genuinely enjoyed. But more importantly, I wanted to change the experience for families. Buying your dream car is exciting. You show it off, you love every second of it. Building your dream home should feel exactly the same.
We exist to strip out the delays, cut the stress, and bring the excitement back to building.
